In Moscow, of all student housing tenants, 48 percent rent apartments jointly, 17 percent individually, and 35 percent rent rooms. This is stated in the materials of the agency "INKOM-Real Estate" (available at the disposal of "Lenta.ru").
As noted by realtors, housing for rent in a pool is mainly two-room apartments. This choice is explained by the economy and comfort of living. "Two-room apartment" may be the best option for four young people. The largest number of such apartments is represented on the rental market of "old" Moscow - 38.5 percent of the total. The second place is taken by "odnushki" (30 percent), the third - three-room apartments (21.5 percent). Rooms and multi-room lots - 5 percent each.
Separate rooms are most often rented by parents for their first-year children who have come to study in the capital from other cities. At the same time, parents select not only housing, but also owners who are ready to look after their child.
“I don’t dare to call it an apartment”: students - about their experience of renting housing
Subsequently, more than half of the students get rid of constant supervision: either they themselves look for another room, or they unite with friends and live together.
Only 17 percent of student employers can afford to rent a separate apartment. They are divided into those who live in expensive areas near the place of study, and those who rents a small living space on the outskirts of the city. There are a large number of prestigious universities in the Western and South-Western administrative districts of Moscow, and living in close proximity to them is not cheap. The remoteness of several metro stations can reduce monthly rental payments by 2-3 thousand rubles, realtors point out.
Experts have also compiled a rating of the districts of "old" Moscow with the most affordable rental housing. It included Solntsevo (an average of 23.8 thousand rubles per apartment per month), Yaroslavsky (24.7 thousand rubles), Molzhaninovsky (26.7 thousand rubles), Beskudnikovsky (27.2 thousand rubles) districts and West Biryulevo with a rental at a rate of 28.5 thousand rubles per month.
Earlier in September, Russian cities were named, from which young people most want to leave - these are Togliatti, Omsk, Barnaul, Chelyabinsk and Volgograd.
