If you wish, you can rent a one-room apartment in Moscow at a reasonable price. Only it will be located in not the most prestigious area, and renovation may take a couple of decades.
In July this year, the demand for rental housing in Moscow was 20% lower than in July last year, RBC reports with reference to a study by Inkom-Real Estate. Experts do not exclude that in the near future it will be cheaper to rent an apartment in the capital.
The average cost of renting a one-room apartment in Moscow is 31 thousand, a two-room apartment - 42 thousand, and a three-ruble note - 49 thousand rubles a month. AiF.ru analyzed prices for the most popular one-room apartments for rent in different parts of Moscow.
New Moscow
The most affordable apartments for rent are in New Moscow. There are mainly new buildings with fresh renovation and communications, and as a bonus - clean air. On the other hand, in most cases you will have to get to the metro by public transport: by train or by bus.

For example, a one-room apartment in Troitsk can be rented for 19,000 rubles a month. The 20-meter apartment has been redecorated, there is a minimum set of household appliances. To the metro station "Olkhovaya" - 15 minutes by public transport, to the "Teply Stan" - 20 minutes.
Renting a one-room apartment within walking distance from the metro (14 minutes to "Rasskazovka") will cost at least 25 thousand rubles. For this money - a 38-meter apartment with all furniture and appliances, a separate bathroom.
East
In addition to New Moscow, it is possible to rent an apartment inexpensively in the east and southeast of the city: industrial enterprises are located here, and the housing stock includes many houses with small apartments.
For 18 thousand rubles a month you can find a one-room apartment within walking distance from the Shchelkovskaya metro station. This is a complete apartment with furniture and even a fan, but it definitely needs some renovation, at least some new wallpaper.
For a more decent living space, you will have to pay 25 thousand per month. This is also "Shchelkovskaya", but a little further from the metro, about 15 minutes walk. A 40-meter odnushka is located on the 10th floor of a 17-storey building, inside there is a 10-year-old redecoration, a sofa, a wardrobe, a large balcony, a washing machine, a refrigerator.

The cheapest apartment in the south of Moscow that AiF.ru managed to find is a 22-meter one-bedroom apartment located 5 minutes walk from the Alma-Atinskaya metro station. It is located on the first floor of a 17-storey building. Apparently, that is why such a low price: only 19.5 thousand rubles per month. The apartment has a normal renovation and some furniture.
Odnushki located on a more comfortable floor, as well as having a more comfortable area, rent 27 thousand rubles a month. For example, 40 meters, 8th floor, not far from the "Annino" metro station. Or 36 meters, 6th floor, 10 minutes to the metro station "Academician Yangel Street".
North
For 23 thousand rubles a month you can rent a one-room apartment located in the Beskudnikovsky district, a 10-minute walk from the Seligerskaya metro station. For this money - 32 square meters, 4th floor of a panel five-story building, mediocre renovation and furniture from the 1990s. Roughly the same options for the same money in the north of Moscow can be found at the "River Station", "Water Stadium", "Petrovsko-Razumovskaya".
To rent a house with renovation fresher and closer to the center, you need to prepare at least 28 thousand rubles. So much is a 30-meter odnushka 8 minutes walk from the Aeroport metro station.
And for 29 thousand rubles a month you can rent an apartment on "Savelovskaya". True, it is located on the first floor.
West
Moscow predicted a fall in rental rates for apartments
In the west of Moscow, housing is more expensive than in the south, north or east. You can't rent a one-room apartment for less than 24 thousand a month. Center
In the center of Moscow there are theaters, museums, parks, the best restaurants, offices. It is convenient to get anywhere from here. But rental prices are also the highest here.
The cheapest odnushka is 28 thousand rubles for 32 square meters, it needs repair. The apartment is located 7 minutes walk from Electrozavodskaya or 5 minutes by bus from Baumanskaya.
For the same money - odnushki on the first floors in the courtyards of "Rimskaya", "Shelepikha", "Proletarskaya". In some, you need to do cosmetic repairs, in others - to buy furniture or household appliances.
You can rent a more or less decent apartment in the Central Administrative District for 33 thousand rubles: a 30-meter odnushka on Proletarskaya. The price includes all utilities (electricity and water).
